Feb 1971. Delivered as the "Erawan" John Swire & Sons, CNCo. as managers. This was the last of 16 of the SD 14 standard ships from Bartram & Sons., who eventually were a subsidiary of Austin & Pickersgill the designers of the SD 14.

April 1979. Sold to the Rion Maritime Corporation (Pegasus Ocean Services), Piraeus. Renamed "Cape Rion".
1981. Sold to the Matthew Shipping Co. Ltd. Montreal. registered in Georgetown. Renamed "Tortugas" The managers being Denholm Ship Management.
1981. Sold to Anangel Champion Cia. navigation S.A. Piraeus. Renamed "Anangel Champion".
1993. Sold to Safehaven Shipping corporation, St.Vincent & Grenadines. Renamed "Rana". Operated by Sea Falcon Navigation Corporation.
1994. Transfered to Starglow Shipping, St Vincent. Renamed "Mantis"
1997. Sold/transferred to Lucky Merit Enterprises Ltd., St.Vincent. Reanamed "Martina".
April 24th. 2000. Broken up at Chittagong.

It has been pointed out that "Erawan" is Thai for "White Elephant"; there was a moment when the fleet was waiting with bated breath for "Error Two"...none the less the name seems to hold a certain compulsive charm for CNCo Management...
