History

Jan 18th.1968. Launched as the "Eredine I" for John Swire & Sons wifh CNCo. as managers. Originally ordered by World-Wide (Shipping) Ltd., Hong Kong, but sold to JS&S in late 1967.

Aug 1974. Sold to Tarsen Shipping Co. (Tarpon Shipping Ltd., London.), Piraeus. Renamed "Tarpon Sentinel".

April 3rd. 1983. During a voyage with a cargo of bagged flour, from Pensacola to Port Said, suffered an engine/electrical failure, and drifted aground 13 mile off Bizerta. On May 18th was refloated and towed to Bizerta.

Oct 19th.1983. Anchor dragged and vessel went aground, vessel broke in two. 37.21.36N/ 10.07.36E
