October 10th.1955. Appointed Substantive Master.
The rest of his service was as Master on the following vessels:- "Shansi II', "[[Fengning]]", "[[Kweichow I]]", "[[Kwangtung II]]" "[[Kweilin II]]". "[[Kuala LumparLumpur]]",retiring on July 24th. 1965, as Fleet Commodore.
