Aug 1958. Delivered as "Chefoo" to China Navigation Co.
1970. Converted by Taikoo Dockyard for side port/door loading, for service on the East Australia- New Guinea service. Renamed "Island Chief II"
Feb 1978. Sold to the Straits Shipping (Pte.) Singapore. Renamed "Straits Hope"
1992. Passed to the subsidiary company Victoria Shipping (Pte.) Singapore. Same name.
Aug 2nd.1992 Under tow by the "Shalom I" to India for breaking up.
October 16th. 1992. Broken up at Alang.
