History

1972. Delivered as the "Bella Coola" to Red.A/B Svenska Lloyd, Gothenburg., who were members of Scanscot consortium. Other members of the consortium were:- Leffler, Denholm, Swedish Lloyd (Thore), Hans Rederi and Brostrum. Lumber carriers from Britsh Columbia to world wide destinations.

1973. Transfered/sold by Scanscot to Paul Gustav Palsson Partrederi, Gothenburg.

1975. Sold to Brostroms Tekniska A/B, Gothenburg., same name.

August 1977. Bought by Taikoo Navigation Co. London. Renamed "Foochow IV".

December 1977. Transfered to CNCo. Swire Pacific Shipmanagement appointed as managers.

June 1980. Transfered to the Swire Korean subsidiary Dong Young Shipping Co. Ltd., Ichon. Renamed "Pegasus Timber".

1984/5. Sold to Kingsland Shipping Ltd., Manila. Renamed "Pegasus", Panamanian flag.

November 9th.1992. During a voyage from Indonesia to Inchon, the vessel grounded on a reef off Lu Tao, Taiwan, following engine failure, broke into two, 2 crew died.
