Refer to sister ship "Strathkeith"
Jan 1978. The vessel was launched for Taikoo Navigation Co., as "Strathkirn" however delivery was made to the Timber Shipping Co., Singapore as the "Timber Bay", the managers being Wolfgang Gimpe.
1979. Placed on charter, with sister ship, to Hoediadah Shipping, Hoediadah, Yemen. Renamed "Jeddah Crown".
Aug 1980. Bought by Crusader Swire Container Services Ltd., with P & O., CNCo. as managers.
1981. Renamed Chengtu III
1989. Bought by Pacific International (Pte.), Singapore. Renamed "Kota Panjang II".
2000, Renamed "Salam Panjang".
April 3rd. 2009. Arrived at Chittagong for breaking up. Beached April 10th 2009.
