This template outputs a the current site time in an elongated ISO 8601 format to replicate the UTC timestamps produced by api.php. It is placed in a "span" tag with an id of "Time-UTC-API" to make parsing by automated programs (e.g. bots synching their timestamps) an easier task. Be sure to use //wikiswire.com/w/index.php?title=Template:Time-UTC-API&action=purge to purge the cache if you are requesting this page, or you must use substitution if including it in other pages to get a current timestamp.
