History
1992. Ordered by Erradale 1992 Ltd. This vessel was the first of the type 162 'Capesize' bulk carrier. Two were originally ordered , one was cancelled. It was mainly designed for grain cargo and is equipped with automatic hold cleaning equipment. The free fall lifeboat, aft is to port of the centre. Total crew manning:- 22.
1994 Delivered to John Swire & Sons, with CNCo. as managers. Registerd at Douglas, Isle of Man. Decks & equipment painted dark red.
2009. Renamed "Erradale Star".
October 22nd. 2012. Broken up at Gadani Beach.
