History

Jan 26th. 1887. During a voyage from Shanghai to Amoy, became stranded on Tsingtau Island, near Amoy, - Refloated.

February 1898. In heavy weather the ship fouled fishing stakes off the China coast and lost its propeller. See egotistical account of incident by Lieutenant Verner below in the 'Images' section.

1923. Broken up at Shanghai.
