History

1925. The ship was built by Yarrow & Co. Glasgow, being assembled then disassembled for delivery to Taikoo D.& E. Co. Hong Kong, for re-assembly.

Dec 8th. 1941. Captured by the Japanese, laid up in Shanghai in a damaged condition.


August/Sept 1945. The ship was recovered in a damaged condition.

1948 Vessel broken up in China.

Service

Built for the Upper Yangtse services, able to operate during the low water season due to her shallow draught.
