History
October 25th.1945. Delivered to the Anchor L as the "Elysia". The ship was one of a group of the 16 "Empire Rawlinson" fast standard vessels. The "Elysia" was initially employed on the Glasgow-New York service.
1950, Chartered to Blue Star Line, and employed on the Pacific coast route, name unchanged.
1965. Employed on the Anchor line's Indian service.
March 15th, 1963. Sold to Efcarriers Co Ltd., Monrovia, Liberia., for 105,000 pounds sterling. Renamed "Athenium".
September 1965. Purchased by CNCo., renamed "Ninghai II".
November 1971. Sold to the Venus International Corporation, Panama. Renamed "Venus Ninghai"
September 1st.1973. Arrived at Kaohsiung for breaking up.
