History

Dec 8th.1941. Seized by the Japanese in the China Sea, near Shanghai.

July 1942. Renamed "Hachigen Maru" (sometimes misread as "Shukuzan Maru") and employed as a military re-enforcements supply ship.

Aug 14th. 1942. Torpedoed and sunk by the U.S.S. "Seawolf" north of Kudat, Borneo. (Position 5.07 N. 119.37 W.)
