Biography

June 23rd. 1919. Joined C.N.Co. with his Master's Certificate of Competency, which he obtained in October 1922. Employed as required on various vessels, initially as 2/M then as C/O.

April 26th. 1921. Promoted to Chief Officer. Sailed on the company's vessels as required as C/O and Master.

Between March 1929 and February 1931 sailed as Master on the Shansi I, Tean, Chungking II, and Chinhua.

Went on Home leave from March to November 1931.. On return from leave he sailed as Master on the Chekiang I, Kiungchow, Wanhsien, Chungking II, Linan, Chinhua, Tatung I and Nanchang II.

July 11th. 1936. Left the service of C.N.Co. on account of Retrenchment
